Prepare  to immerse yourself in a world of regional specialties, from the iconic  spaghetti alla chitarra to the savory delights of timballo with  crespelle (crepes), locally crafted pasta, fresh seafood, and heavenly  pastries. Each day will be a blend of indulging your palate and honing  your writing skills through immersive food writing classes led by Chef  Walter himself.

Our  journey unfolds in the stunning landscape of the Adriatic shores,  guided by native Chef Walter Potenza, known for its meticulously curated  culinary experiences. Our home base will be the charming coastal town  of Giulianova, boasting vibrant architecture, inviting beaches, and many  delightful eateries and shops.

Here's a glimpse of what our itinerary holds:

The  fee for this unforgettable experience is $3850 per person for double  occupancy (with a $600 supplement for single occupancy). It covers  workshop sessions, all meals, six-night accommodations, transportation,  excursions, a hands-on cooking class, and more. 

Please  note that airfare to Italy and airport transfers are not included.  Also, this itinerary involves moderate physical activity and may not be  suitable for those with mobility limitations.

Seven-day journey to Abruzzo, Italy

A typical day includes breakfast  in the morning, followed by traveling to a nearby city or town to  purchase the necessary ingredients for a five-course meal; back in the  kitchen, we begin our daily orientation and work on our menu. An  estimated cooking class will last 3 hours. We will then sit down and  enjoy our food creations with local wines, olive oil, and rustic breads.  After lunch, you can take a break or enjoy sightseeing alone or in  company. Your evenings are free to explore restaurants, shops, and other personal activities. 

The  prepared meals will reflect the classic "Italian meal structure" of one  appetizer, one first course (pasta, risotti, grains, etc.), one main  course (secondo), Vegetables, and dessert. 

Each Day, the participants will taste different wines, olive oils, and cheeses.

Allergies are addressed with Chef Walter for proper modifications. 

One Day dedicated to seafood

One Day is dedicated to meat proteins, games, and other things.

One Day dedicated to legumes, vegetables, and tubers
